Middle School's
Trey McCutcheon took the
top time at the Preston Mountaintop Combo Invitational
held Saturday.
McCutcheon's time of 13 minutes and 45 seconds was
five seconds ahead of the runner-up. It also helped
the Braves to a 5th place finish at the meet.
Others placing for BMS were Andy Klenk in 19th (15
minutes, 6 seconds); Daniel Cole in 27th (15:31); Matt
Salsberry in 49th (17:08); Seth Edgell in 52nd (17:36)
and Jacob Knicely in 54th (17:44).
Although the girls finished 11th, they did have a
solid day of competition. The top female finisher for
BMS was Tiffany Oldaker in 50th with a time of 20
minutes and 2 seconds. The rest of the field was Sarah
Salsberry in 52nd (20:19); Amanda Wilcox in 55th
(22:21);
Sara Swanson in 62nd (23:43)
and Brooke
Harvey in 69th (28:16).
Combined, the Braves finished eighth in the field. |
